Last years winner Present Man is the top-rated horse in the race and is only 2lbs higher than last year. It was the early pinnacle of his season as he did not win again. Runs well when fresh and every chance gain.

Ramses De Teillee is a French import to the David Pipe stable. Loves heavy ground and the going so far does not support that. Failing a heavy downpour he will have a lot to do.

El Bandit had only 1 run last season and that was a winning one. Been off for a long time but could be a smart prospect.

Kings Lad has had three runs since the beginning of September. A good consistent type but the handicapper may now have him weighted up to his best.

Allelu Alleluia. Good form and much improved in blinkers first time on last run winning as Worcester. Stepping up in distance today.

The winner here over course and distance last month, Bigbadjohn could easily follow up today. Tougne tied today as he was last time out for the first time.

Forever Field. Consistent but could well be in the grip of the handicapper. Needs to improve.

Belmount is much improved lately. Good second a few days ago. Should go well.

Dancing Shadow will need a lot of improvement but this is first run since wind op.

Sumkindofking Consistent runner. 2nd to Bigbadjohn last time out and no season why that for should be overturned.

Course and distance winner Auntie Ann is in good form but will need to improve here.

Bestwork is an improving sort. Pulled up last time when weakening. Maybe need things to go his own way?

On Demand is running into a little form of late but a big step up now and more required.

Captain Buck’s 3rd to Auntie Ann last time at this course. Has not won for a while and may be handicapped out of the race.

Fingerontheswitch has good form around this tack and also around this distance. Will stay on.

Bottom weight Sam Red. A nice horse and improving but this is a big step up.
