Billed as the duel on the downs this year race is seen as a clash between the best two milers today Kingman and Toronado.

Both horses come here in good form and should run well hopfully without any excuses.

Outstrip and Darwin both good horses in thier own right make up the rest of this 4 horse race but will be running for 3rd place today.

Not a great betting feat today but one to watch and marvel as these two great 4-year-olds battle.

1 2 3-6012 Darwin 4 9-8 A P OŽBrien59 Joseph O'Brien
Outsider of the four runners today this Group 3 winning bay colt looks to have it all to do here today. Will love the ground but is unlikely to win even if this race turns very tactical.

2 5 4216-1 Toronado 4 9-8 Richard Hannon Richard Hughes
Group 1 winner and also reigning champion as he won this race last year. Has everything in his favour today but there is one major obstacle that is his main opponent Kingman. A dual group one winner, Toronado is top class and would like the ground not to be too firm (although he has won on firm) so the fact that the course has been watered and is expected to turn slightly slower than yesterday looks like he will be fighting out the finish.

3 4 1-1211 Kingman 3 9-0 John Gosden James Doyle
Six runs and five wins, Kingman is another dual group 1 winner. He is top class and looks to be the best horse running over a mile. A worthy odds on favourite who has only been beaten once and that was in this seasons 2000 Guineas. He will be getting 8 lbs weight for age allowance from Toronado today and that should prove decisive in a close finish. In a fair race he should stamp his authority over his rivals today but four horse races can sometimes be tactical and have unexpected results.

4 1 131-03 Outstrip 3 9-0 Charlie Appleby William Buick
Winner of a two year old group 1 in the USA last year shows this horse is no slouch however he looks held by his two runs against Kingman this season where he has finished well behind. In his favour he will like the quick ground and has run well here before.
